We have been seeing a bit of frost the last couple of days. It seems silly to even comment on the frost knowing the kind of weather and conditions that hit the Northeast this past weekend. Our friends and neighbors have been on my mind so much the past couple of days!!
The lake is so pretty on these crisp, clear mornings!!
She loves reading out loud and was especially excited to read the story of David and Goliath from 1 Samuel for school on Friday.
As we were heading across the street Friday night, we managed to catch the two minutes of freezing rain that fell. The kids were so excited thinking that snow was coming soon.
Peach smoothies, roasted almonds and lots of other goodies made this weekend. "Cancer Fighting Kitchen" has been so incredibly helpful and fun!
Thankful for a relaxing and family-filled weekend. Somehow my camera didn't make it out nearly enough to capture all of our goings-on. Grandma and Papa made a special trip to see us and spend the day on Saturday. Sunday morning Neena came for a visit to chat and try a new Kuerig Mocha.
Favorite part of the weekend by far...Skyping with Dean. So glad he is back in China. The time difference for the past week while he was in Germany sure did make it hard to have our daily conversations!!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. :)
